I had the chance to visit this vibrant city for 5 days this summer and was blown away by how it beautifully blends urban excitement with natural beauty and wellness activities. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or as a family, this 5-day itinerary will help you explore the best of Toronto. From iconic landmarks and cultural sites to wellness retreats and delicious restaurants, including plenty of vegan options, this travel guide is based on my own amazing journey through the city. So, pack your bags and get ready to discover Toronto's charm with me!

Day 1: Exploring Downtown Toronto

  • Morning: Start your day with breathtaking views from the CN Tower, one of Toronto's most iconic landmarks. Head up to the observation deck for panoramic vistas of the city and Lake Ontario. Afterward, visit Ripley's Aquarium next door to explore fascinating marine life, including mesmerizing jellyfish and interactive touch pools.

  • Afternoon: Wander through St. Lawrence Market, a historic site filled with fresh produce, artisanal goods, and delicious food stalls. Sample local delicacies and grab a bite from one of the popular vendors.

  • Evening: Enjoy dinner in the Entertainment District. While I dined at 1 Kitchen, there are plenty of other options to explore.

Day 2: Cultural and Wellness Experiences

  • Morning: Begin with a Private Flow and Glow yoga session at 1 Hotel. This session will leave you feeling refreshed and energized.

  • Late Morning: Indulge in a Bath & Body Apothecary Workshop at Lixr Beauty, founded by Susanne Langmuir. You'll learn about luxurious, farm-to-face skincare and create your own products.

  • Lunch: Enjoy a wholesome meal at Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar on Queen Street, a staple for delicious plant-based dishes and refreshing juices. It's perfect for a picnic in Trinity Bellwoods Park or a quick bite after shopping.

  • Afternoon: Join a Private Non-Alc Mixology Class with Gail Lynch at Zero Cocktail Bar. Learn to craft beautiful, non-alcoholic cocktails and leave with new skills and Instagram-worthy drinks.

  • Dinner: Savor a plant-based dinner at PLANTA Queen, known for its flavorful dishes that showcase the power of plants.

  • Morning: Start with a Guided Down: Reset session at Othership Yorkville. This transformative experience includes sauna sessions, ice baths, and breathwork to help you reset and find balance.

  • Lunch: Relish a pop-up lunch at Taline, an authentic Armenian restaurant offering dishes rich in herbs and spices.

  • Afternoon: Treat yourself to a Hydrate + Glow Facial at Formula Fig, perfect for achieving a radiant look and feel.

  • Late Afternoon: If you missed them, visit the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium, must-see attractions in Toronto.

  • Evening: Explore Sobr Market Toronto, the city's biggest non-alcoholic bottle shop, and sample a wide selection of alcohol-free beverages.
