  1. Antrim Streamside

Explore 250 acres of woods, hiking trails, and immerse yourself in nature at this gorgeous boutique property on a gated estate in the heart of the Catskills. Each private accommodation is independently situated so you have complete privacy. I stayed at this property in August at the Pond View cabin, which is beautifully appointed with kitchenette (and an outdoor shower!) — perfect for anyone wanting to practice safe social distancing while being able to enjoy a relaxing getaway. This cabin is set at the edge of one of the property’s two picturesque ponds, with the second pond and Willowemoc Creek within a few steps. You’ll also have access to guided fishing adventures, hammocks, hiking trails on-property, and a private farm.

  2. Sound View Hotel

Head out East to Long Island — but skip the Hamptons crowds— when you go to Greenport’s Sound View Hotel. All rooms are situated on the waterfront with direct access to their quarter mile of private beach. You can easily take the ferry over to Shelter Island for a quick day trip too!

  3. Piaule Catskills

The stunning private cabins at this modern landscape getaway in the Catskills are not to be missed. Enjoy the state-of-the-art spa and restaurant too! Perfect for couples or a solo getaway.

  4. Gatherwild Ranch

Glamping looks good on this 15-acre ranch in the Hudson Valley. A former apple orchard, it now houses unique structures and farm animals. Give a ceramics class a whirl, order locally grown food, and completely unplug at this beautiful property.

  5. The Roundhouse Beacon

Originally a textile manufacturing company built in the 1800s, this 2 building, 23-room Roundhouse Hotel has a historic and artsy vibe. Family-owned, but with the air of a five-star hotel, this is a great getaway for anyone. Plus, you can visit the local Dia Beacon museum and Stormking Art Center nearby.

  6. Lake House on Canandaigua

Luxury meets a clean, modern aesthetic at this amazing 124-room resort on lake Canandaigua in the Finger Lakes. Enjoy Nordic-inspired saunas overlooking the lake and then have a farm-to-table meal at the hotel’s exquisite restaurant after a day of swimming or snowshoeing.

  7. Mohonk Mountain House

A classic NYC getaway, Mohonk Mountain House in the Hudson Valley is a great place to peep the fall foliage and enjoy some quality relaxation at their award-winning spa. The expansive property dates back to 1869 when Albert Smiley purchased the 300 acres “to provide opportunities for recreation and renewal of body, mind, and spirit in a beautiful natural setting.” Not much has changed!

  8. Glenmere Mansion

Step into Gilded Age royalty when you pay a visit to the historic Glenmere Mansion, located on 150 acres of unbelievable scenery in the Lower Hudson Valley. Less than 50 miles from NYC, you can enjoy this property’s two restaurants, full-service spa, and European-style elegance.

  9. Whiteface Lodge

The Whiteface Lodge is a luxury lodge and resort located on Lake Placid in upstate New York. It’s surrounded by the Adirondack mountains and offers a wide array of year-round indoor and outdoor activities, including its spa, bowling alley, pools, ice skating rink, award-winning restaurant, and more!

  10. Castle Hotel & Spa

This stunning property sits just 40 minutes north of NYC in Tarrytown, making it the perfect, quick weekend getaway. The Castle is indeed a castle-turned-hotel and spa, featuring a sprawling outdoor pool. It’s a beautiful spot for special occasions and events too!

  11. Lodge at Woodloch

With over 35 classes and activities offered per day, you won't get bored at this luxury Poconos getaway. With an emphasis on personal awakening and re-focusing, you’ll leave this trip feeling refreshed and ready for city life again.
