Honest Review: Mediterranean Cruise with Virgin Voyages
Embarking on a Mediterranean cruise with Virgin Voyages was an adventure I'll always cherish. From the modern comforts of the cabin to the vibrant nightlife and diverse dining options, every moment was so much fun! Modern Cabins and Wellness Onboard
I must say, the cabins on Virgin Voyages are modern and feel like a breath of fresh air. The contemporary design and comfortable amenities set the tone for a luxurious experience. I recommend booking a Central Sea Terrace room — if possible. It's not only equipped with a stunning sea view but also conveniently located in the middle of the ship, near the elevators and stairs. This makes accessing different parts of the ship a breeze.
A Gastronomic Journey at Sea
The dining experience onboard Virgin Voyages is a culinary delight. There's a diverse range of dining options to suit every palate. One of my favorite dining experiences occurred at Test Kitchen, an unconventional restaurant onboard that was an absolute highlight. The creativity and variety of the menu were remarkable. However, the most unforgettable dining experience was at Gunbae. This Korean BBQ-inspired restaurant isn't just about the food – it starts every meal with a fun, interactive game, making it a lively and unique dining adventure. The communal atmosphere and delicious food make it a must-visit dining destination on the ship.
Endless Entertainment and Activities
One aspect of Virgin Voyages that I can't rave about enough is the never-ending entertainment. As you'll see throughout my video, there are shows, DJ sets, and unique activities happening all over the ship. It's virtually impossible to have a dull moment. Whether you're into high-energy parties or more laid-back entertainment, there's something for everyone. Be sure to pack a red outfit for the iconic Scarlet Night, a vibrant and unforgettable party experience highlighted (it’s shown at 28:00 in my video).
Stunning Mediterranean Destinations
The itinerary of this cruise is what dreams are made of. We visited some of the most beautiful destinations in the Mediterranean. The journey begins with our arrival in Marseille, France, a charming port city with a rich history. We also visited Cannes, known for its international film festival and stunning beaches. One of my personal favorite destinations as part of this cruise was Palma de Mallorca. The island's beauty is simply breathtaking. And while in Palma, I took one of Virgin Voyages’ private tours to Valldemossa, a picturesque village in Mallorca, known for its traditional stone houses and beautiful landscapes.
The Ibiza Experience
Arriving in Ibiza was another highlight. The island's vibrant energy and beautiful beaches make it a perfect destination for fun and relaxation. The nightlife in Ibiza is legendary, and experiencing it was a highlight of the trip.
Concluding the Journey
As we returned to Barcelona, I couldn't help but feel a mix of sadness and gratitude. The experience with Virgin Voyages was more than just a cruise; it was an adventure filled with luxury, fun, and unforgettable memories.

Here’s the French Daze & Ibiza Nights: 7-Night Itinerary on Scarlet Lady
Day 1: Barcelona
Departure: 06:00 PM (All aboard 2 hrs before departure). Start your journey in the vibrant city of Barcelona, renowned for its art, architecture, and lively street life. Board the Scarlet Lady and prepare for an unforgettable sailing experience.
Day 2: Marseille
Port Time: 08:00 AM - 07:00 PM Explore Marseille, a port city in southern France known for its historic architecture and multicultural heritage. Enjoy a day of sightseeing and savoring local French cuisine.
Day 3: Cannes
Port Time: 08:00 AM - 09:00 PM Cannes, the star of the French Riviera, awaits with its glamorous allure. Stroll along La Croisette, visit the old town or relax on its beautiful beaches.
Day 4: Sailing
At Sea A day at sea offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the amenities aboard Scarlet Lady. Relax by the pool, indulge in spa treatments, or join onboard activities and entertainment.
Day 5: Palma de Mallorca
Port Time: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Discover Palma de Mallorca's charming streets, historic sites, and stunning beaches. This Balearic Island gem blends culture, nature, and vibrant nightlife.
Day 6: Ibiza
Arrival: 07:00 PM As night falls, arrive in Ibiza, known for its lively nightlife and electronic music scene. Experience the island's famous clubs or enjoy its beautiful beaches and quaint villages.
Day 7: Ibiza
Departure: 05:00 PM. Spend another day in Ibiza exploring its hidden coves, hippie markets, and rustic countryside. Soak up the Mediterranean sun before sailing back in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Barcelona
Arrival: 06:30 AM (Please allow up to an hour for the gangway to open for disembarkation). Return to Barcelona in the early morning. After disembarking, take the opportunity to explore more of the city or begin your journey home with a heart full of memories.
